To Anon who was in an accident two weeks ago (I posted about my accident yesterday)

I'm the one who you responded to yesterday, and wasn't sure if you were still checking that thread. It sounds like your injuries were fairly similar to mine, and I'm just wondering if you had any tooth sensitivity? My teeth weren't injured at all, but there are a few that have felt extra sensitive since the accident, and the only answer I got is that it's probably something nerve-related connected to the facial injuries and it should eventually go away, but to get it checked out if it's not gone in a few weeks. I'm just curious if you had anything like that?

And thank you for all the well wishes in that thread if you see this! I was having a bit of eye strain and had to take a break from the computer for awhile and wasn't sure if anyone would see any responses in that thread but wanted to make sure you know I appreciate it!

I'm not that nonnie. But I have definitely gotten more migraines in the past year since my car accident. I think trauma and stress can absolutely make your nerves more sensitive in general, and especially if you injure that specific area.

Yeah, I think it can make sense. Hopefully you will start getting fewer migraines soon!

I am that nonnie and I had horrible tooth sensitivity, not even on the nearest teeth to the impact site as I thought might happen. It is still occasionally giving me problems on one tooth but it's mostly gone now. Hope you're doing well!

Thanks for responding and letting me know that. Hopefully it will start to get better soon. I'm doing a little better, I think, I've been sleeping a lot and I think that is helping. I hope you are doing okay!

Do you have a bite guard? It's possible you have been grinding your teeth in your sleep from stress (I have done this in the past) and one tooth is still responding to that.
