AYRT was not asking why OP feels like they were invalidating Kristen Stewart's sexuality. They were pointing out that assuming she was marrying a man doesn't invalidate her sexuality, because bi women are also attracted to men.

Well... last I heard she had been dating a woman, so I would have been surprised if next I heard she was engaged to a dude just because I hadn't heard of the break-up or the new relationship, so it would seem really fast. If you're surprised that she could be engaged to a man because "bi only valid if same sex relationship", then yeah, that's an issue you should work on. But it's not huge or anything, def not worth you being yelled at over.

TBF Dylan is still more commonly a man’s name than a woman’s. Some names are so evenly split that I need other information to even guess the gender. But Dylan, while being a truly awesome woman’s name, never got quite the same popularity as the ones that became gender neutral.

And as others said, assuming she was marrying a man doesn’t invalidate her bisexuality. She can marry anyone she wants and still identify however best suits her.

This reminds me of a thread on Reddit a few weeks ago (yes, yes, I know) where someone was ranting about Kristen Stewart's "performative" sexuality. The gist was that she talks about being into women during interviews, but here she is, marrying a man! Just another straight girl, pretending to be LGBT for clout.

On the plus side, the poster admitted they'd fucked up when a bunch of people pointed out that Dylan is a woman.

I'm reminded of a photo that went around a while back of a couple kissing at a Pride event and posting it with a "Happy Pride" message, and getting mocking "Ooh, so brave of a straight couple to show their love at Pride!" It turned out they were both women, one was just extremely masculine-presenting.
