The only things I know about that series are what I've learned from her art.

Honestly I'm pretty sure my experience with the series is like 2x better than most people's because of it.

IA. Honestly, I love Blue's art. She's fabulous and amazing and never ceases to amaze me with what she can draw and how effortless it looks. But...at the same time, the canon art, no matter how ugly the old stuff is or how balloon-y the hands are, is canon art.

And if someone says they only know the series through fanart and not canon art...how can you have a good experience? You've probably never even read the strips and don't know what's going on.

I kinda like that every artist has their interpretation on the story, so to each their own I guess. 'Sides there are many awesome artists in the fandom so there's always more where to choose. :)♥

I have to respectfully disagree. I love blue's art and all, but it can't replace Himaruya's. I think it's a bit respectful to the both of them to say you want her to redraw the series.

Both styles have a distinctive look to them, so it's all good to me. One of the many parts why I enjoy Hetalia is that we see Himaruya's art evolving. It look kinda bloated at first but it's really coming around.

th-thank you OP, i'm really flattered you feel that way! but i adore hetalia the way himaruya made it and i don't think it would be the same if it were any other artist.. sausage fingers and all haha;;

i think it's nice to enjoy the canon for what it is, and appreciate fanworks on a different level! all the different interpretations of the source material are what make this fandom pretty cool o/

I like Hetalia's original art, but I prefer Bluef0x's because I can actually differentiate between the characters. I swear I can't tell who is who half the time in the strips. @_@
