Haha, well. I'm not going to argue that. It's fandom, dude. I dare you to find a group that doesn't contain people who are creepy and insane. For example: STARFISHING.

Also there are totally different levels to being creepers in fandom. Some groups don't make me sort of go "um, okay. I'll just be. Over there." Like, I thought it was a bit odd that people were so ~inspired~ by him on twitter, but whatever, not that weird. I've even been in some of the milder versions (O ORLANDO LET ME BUY YOUR POSTERS /SWOON etc), but... seriously, IDK, the koolaid joke got to me. DDDD:;;;; Even more so because it was framed within a secret where they said they could understand becoming a cultist, I just DK. MOST PEOPLE IN FANDOM DON'T MAKE ME THINK THEY THINK ABOUT BEING IN A CULT FOR A PERSON ENOUGH TO EVEN JOKE ABOUT IT???

Anyway yes totally skeeved me out most people don't get this far into my "contains crazy" book without stalking actors and think they are their characters. :(

Oh, well, Misha fandom is kind of over the top that way. Step into mishaland and you'll frequently hear that Misha is the messiah, Misha rules the world even if nobody knows it yet, that mishaland is a polygamous cult, and a plethora of variations on that theme. I'm not the OP of this secret, nor am I psychic, but I would bet large sums of money that it's pure exaggeration, and however highly the OP holds Misha in her esteem, she doesn't actually think about being in a cult for him. So yeah, Misha fandom can get like this, but rest assured no one is over there taking it seriously.

Yeah, Misha is just fucking with us to keep us out of his personal life. Giving us treats so we don't go looking for them, ya know? I really love him though. I mean the whole Minion thing has kind of gone on for a bit too long I think, but I love Misha to bits because, unlike Jared and Jensen (sorry, and no offense to them at all), but I just love how he can be so dorky and gay (whether he really is or isn't, just his fun and open personality) while also being really smart. I mean the man studied social theory and worked in the white house as an intern and studied Buddhism in a tibetan monastery. Plus he just seems much more approachable than Jared and Jensen do, and he doesn't seem as snobbish. But you know the thing I love the most about him? He has an opinion and he's not afraid to give it and he's unapologetic about it. Like remember when the slash fans got in a hissy fit because he said he didn't support it? And he was like, "Fuck 'em." I seriously cheered him on!!! Good on him for that!
