The fact that you own her first album doesn't mean anything, I would say. She was so huge then, you were younger, etc etc. That said, I wouldn't say she's talentless, but I think no matter her talent, she's a star, and I really hope she keeps herself together and puts out more awesome records-- because I don't care if it's pop, some of it is still fucking awesome.

This is why I never take people that bash Britney seriously. They're either secret fans or they're totes just looking to rain on the Parade of ~*~Awesome~*~.

Criticizing an artist? I can understand that to an extent. But unless the fans are making asses out of themselves, it's bitchy to bash them. People are going to enjoy different music, so learn to respect that. I'm typically not a fan of American pop music, but some of her stuff is extremely catchy, even though I think the poor girl needs to take a break from the industry for a few years to clear her head and focus on her family.
