The thing which bugged me about DH is that it didn't say anything about her career. Or anyone's, for that matter. JK Rowling only said after it was published what everyone was doing with their lives, other than popping out kids. And of course a working woman can have a family, I just wanted to know more about what had happened to these characters that I'd been reading about since they were 11 years old than what they named their children. It's not the fact that they had kids that bugs me, it's the complete disregard for anything else that happened in their lives shown by the Epilogue.

I didn't think she would become minister to fight for elf rights. I thought she'd become minister to change the wizarding world, including the world of house elves. It is true that she's young, and she's still got plenty of time. And since Rowling didn't put any of the career stuff in the story's canon, I can comfort myself by imagining anything I want about what happened next.
