What are some pieces of media you think would work really well as another type (like a movie that would make a great tv show or a game that would make a great movie).

I want a Detroit: Become Human tv show.

For a long time I thought it was a TV show. It was just recently I saw the game on sale and thought "they have a game based on the show?" and then my brain caught up with the facts.

Well, there is Almost Human, which is about a detective android. So there was a tv show that was similar. It fell prey to the sci-fi on fox curse.

Oh I bet my brain just mushed the two together. That would definitely be on brand for me.

There's also Being Human (UK & USA versions), but that has to do with vampires, werewolves, and ghosts, not robots. But the names are similar!

I think The Copper Cat Trilogy could work really well as a 3 movie adaptation, or a 2 season show. It's got a really fun story that isn't so intricate or complex to require loads of time to tell, and I selfishly would love to have a LA of it.

I want more horror games inspired by horror movies!
Dead Space is heavily inspired by Event Horizon and it's one of my favourite video games ever!
Same with The Thing videogame from 2002, which is a direct sequel to the Carpenter movie. It was awesooooome...

There are so many horror movie stories that would be great in videogames. And no, not in co-op or stuff like that. I just want single player survival horror games...

Ooooo. Event Horizon is my favorite horror movie. I bet a game based on it is amazing.

It is! It's pretty scary, too! And the space vessel you need to go through during the game is absolutely stunning. I just replayed it a little while ago and UH it's just too beautiful ;___;
they even did a remake with better graphics, but I've heard the original game from 2008 has still a better and creepier atmosphere.

I think the move The Boat That Rocked would make for a good tv-miniseries. Maybe 4-6 episodes.

A five season BBC sitcom.

My main takeaway from watching Zootopia was that it would make a great kid-friendly GTA or L.A Noire-style open world video game. The artists who conceptualized that setting popped off in a way that felt hampered by a Disney movie's runtime

There are so many books that I think would make amazing mini series.

I think a Stardew Valley tv show would be hilarious in the best kind of way if done right.

Roadside Picnic got a movie and a game (more or less), I wanna see what ELSE it can be.
