It's really sad and frustrating that fans seem unable to treat POC in the Star Wars cast as just, you know, people -- they've always gotta make it about their race, and berate each other over it. Hell, the only reason people have stopped yelling "RACIST" at each other about Diego Luna is they've decided once and for all that he's actually white. Is that the ultimate fate of all POC in the series? Either they're defined largely by the color of their skin, or people decide that they're white, and can therefore be judged on other criteria? And how is anyone able to fool themselves into thinking this is a progressive approach?

Not all of them are gone, and the most vocal of the ones that are still around are still very possessive and mean about damn near everything to do with the Sequel Trilogy.

It's interesting that your mind immediately jumped to Reylos when someone pointed out the extremely possessive behavior of Finn/Rey shippers and Finn fans in general.

Could it be that you have an obsessive hateboner for your fandom rivals?

If anything, I could see them jumping in a new ship just because it's not-reylo. I've seen it happen often with fans that are against popular ships like that one.
