Why would Disney care about pissing off Reylos? Given how shitty RoS turned out, I'd like to think they've learned the folly of trying to please the unpleasable.

Besides, Reylos won't be back if Kylo Ren isn't in it, and Adam Driver has said he's done.

(To be honest, I think the studio regrets the implicit message of Rey’s story essentially being “please keep giving second chances to your violent stalker as you never know when he’s going to get a magical personality transplant and save your life.” This whole movie concept reeks of trying to rehabilitate the character as a role model/independent woman/strong female character™. But that’s just total speculation on my part).
