Man, so lucky to have guides. In my day we just had to accept whatever badly subbed bootlegged version was lurking in the back of the VHS rental store, and we never knew if it was a whole series, part of a show, a one off movie, or what. If you were really lucky, at least you got a semi-pro dub of it. We never got to see whole series. Just OVAs, and random episodes compiled without thought to placement.

Guides? Luxury, I tell you, luxury.

Ah, those were the days. We got the actual official licensed English-subbed copy of Weiss Kreuz and had to make the story up as we watched because the actual official subs were shit. Like, had random characters in the middle of what we assume were supposed to be English words shit. Guides??? LOL

Kids these days. Don't know how good they have it.
