I do this with with a lot of castmates, not just comedy duos.

I really want Sue and Mel to be real life friends. They seem like such an odd couple duo and I love them both.

Yeah, I’m kind of with you on this. Especially for the pairs I love.

I do wonder how they relate in real life. I even (*shudder*) read r/FauxMoi in case there’s some relevant gossip.

At the same time, I just wish I could imagine them as happy professional pairs without delving for evidence that they’re unhappy.

In a way I kind of hope David Mitchell and Robert Webb aren't that close; I like David Mitchell quite a bit, and Webb (like SO many others in those circles) is a transphobe.

Seriously?? Jesus.

Hit post comment too quick. I meant to say that was really disappointing to hear. But I guess after all JK Rowling going off the rails, maybe it's just as well that I don't know how many British celebs are transphobes.

Ah yes, because criticism of a charity is transphobia, well done. No questioning, only loclstep agreement! Check your wrongthink!

Bullshit

Like if you're talking about how only a tiny minority of trans people are actually trans, as he did, those are anti-trans views.

The charity widely criticised for pushing hormone blockers instead of therapy? Jog on.

Mermaids is a real shitty charity that does more harm than good to the transgender community though. Most criticism of them is more than appropriate.
That's like saying someone criticising PETA is an animal hater.

Is there anyone who have said what it is that mermaid has done wrong?

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Stephen Frey is suppose to be the godfather to Hugh Laurie's kids, so I'd say pretty close there.
