he seems appropriately rated, like my dude only just now got an oscar at all. if he's being overrated, that's because his director friends keep hyping him up in the press and film twitter is just Like That(tm).

I think he's overrated by Joe Blow Average Male Internet Film Fan because of how hard those guys generally went for the Batman movies in the 00s.

Outside of that specific subset of people, I don't think he's particularly overrated.
