Sure. But I wouldn't say that the cdramas or hot actors are of serious consequence (because LOL come on), nor would I claim that my opinions on them should matter to anyone because that'd be pretty arrogant of me. So I guess they are arguably rather inconsequential. I make the secrets for fun, or just to express a random thought I had. Lots of people do that here?

Nonny, I think you're really stuck on this in a way that's a wee bit too much. Some people make really deep, important secrets about stuff that matters to them a whole lot. Some people don't. The community isn't only about the fandoms or opinions that are at the core of someone's existence, it's a lot more generalized and open than that.

Well no, but the issue isn't whether they're of serious consequence; it's whether it makes sense to express any thought at all if your feeling is that there's no point in sharing or discussing it. If a friend expressed a random, unimportant thought to you, and you responded to it, and they then said, "that was a random, unimportant thought, so I don't care to hear anything you have to say about it," I imagine it would strike you as odd that they'd shared it with you to begin with, right?

Most of what we share in this comm is ultimately of very little importance, but we still want to share it, right? And we still want to talk about it, even if it's silly. It's not the done thing for OPs to reply to comments on their secrets with, "why did you respond to this? It doesn't matter, and I have no desire to know what you think about it." Surely we would all agree that that would be strange and kind of rude, even if the secret was, "I like that my fav wears the color purple."

... are you okay, nonny? I don't really understand what it is you're getting at. Making silly secrets really is just for fun on my part, there's no weird agenda or deep thought process behind it. It's just an entertaining way to pass the time, even if they're not earthshaking opinions or if nobody really cares what I think about such-and-such actor or that guilty pleasure romcom I binged last week.

Right, but if someone replied to one of your silly secrets, surely you wouldn't say to them, "hey, look, I just made this for fun. It doesn't matter, so stop commenting on it."

I'm not supposing there's any agenda behind any of this. I'm suggesting it's odd to express something, anything at all, that one doesn't think is worth anyone talking about.
