DA also, the Paris park is a broken down money sink.

It was int he nineties, things have changed a bit since the Simpsons did that gag. It is very crowded these days, 2020-2022 exempted of course.

It only opened in the nineties so it wasn't broken down back then, no. For the most part it has been hemorrhaging money and yes, it is crowded (outside of the winter months where it's pretty dead for a Disney park) the upkeep and renovations are sucking away a lot of the money it makes. It only really started to make a profit after the Disney company took actual ownership a few years ago. But I've been there in 2019 and while it likely has been renovated during Covid, it was looking pretty damn rough back then.
