I've given up hope at this point that Disney will ever do anything like this. Because... it's Disney.

Now I don't agree with this. I really believe people aren't giving enough credit to Disney for acknowledging the LGBT crowd; they accept gay and lesbian marriages in their resort and they even have an entire "Gay Day"...thing too. They've taken steps to show that they are supportive of homosexuality, which I truly believe is a step in the right direction.

While yes, the whole Gay Day and homosexual marriage thing isn't as directly influential on their public as their shows or animations are, I'm still very optimistic at the idea that, very soon, there will be at least a homosexual character in their works.
