The day we get a Disney film with a gay couple in it is the day I die happy.

Nothing anybody says will ever convince me that Jumba and Pleakley from Lilo & Stitch aren't intended as exactly that.

At least that's how my partner and I talk about them with our daughter. ...We're sort of grasping at straws when it comes to finding anything close to resembling a positive any representation of other gay families.

In other words, I don't think you're just right, I think it's pretty much unquestionable ffffff.

Oh, Timon and Pumba, yes! I can't even tell you how suprisedly impressed I was with Lion King 1½, this out of nowhere transformative story that went and took the subplot of this movie about lions or coming of age or whatever and then turned it into the tale of how a young meerkat who is too fabulous for his family strikes off on his own to find his soulmate - and then they adopt a baby and save the town and live happily ever after in the jungle.
