Oh man, this so much. I have a friend who is of Japanese descent and she says that people are always disappointed when they meet her because she's their "first Japanese friend! :D:D" but, funnily enough, doesn't behave like an anime character.

I didn't realize how bad it was until I talked with a friend about her younger sister--their grandfather was Chinese and his genes skipped a generation and showed up in her. Her idiotic weeaboo classmates bothered her non-stop and got nasty with her when she said she preferred Disney classic films to anime. It's just retarded assuming someone is foreign because they aren't white--many Asian people in America are Asian-Americans who were born and raised in the States. Japan has some badass stuff about it, but people do need to realize it's not a magical land of hentai, pocky and samurai swords.
