Where are you? There's no shortage of Top 40, "Greatest hits of the '00s through today!," "New Country," "New Hip-Hop," "New Latin," etc., stations near me and I'm out in the sticks. Granted, they're 90% owned by iHeartRadio, which means that you will hear the same 4 albums they're promoting on almost constant repeat, but the human employees do manage to slip in a decent amount of other material in around the 42nd replay of fucking Karma.

I'm pretty sure that every major radio market in the US has at least a couple Top 40, adult contemporary, etc stations.

So either OP is way out in the boonies, or they're just ignoring the channels that play new music.

I was wondering the same thing. I don’t even listen to the radio (or any streaming services) and even I know of at least 5 “new music” stations in my area. Some cut out in patches when I drive into town (there are mountains between my town and the city where everything is broadcast) but that’s how I know there are so many, cause I’ll scan through the channels if I forgot to plug my phone in.
