Oh gosh anon I agree with you but sadly I've seen instances of youtubers, or streamers, handling something privately but because it wasn't broadcasted publicly people still jumped on the one who apologised because 'it wasn't visible' but when they acknowledged it publicly they still got torn apart.

I'm afraid when it comes to the parasocial relationships fans really do make with their fave streamers/youtubers there is no winning.
