Thanks, nonny. I'm confused about why people would pay for fic that's available for free online. Is it deleted fic? If so, then yeah, I could see why there would be a market and why some lucky person with a printout would be tempted to tap into it. All moral judgments aside.

My understanding is that it's just that it's supposedly ~SO GOOD~ that the traditionally published romance fans just HAVE to get their hands on a PHYSICAL copy for their bookshelves, which is, stupid.

But on that note? It is kind of deleted because it was announced about a month ago that it's going to be 50 Shades of Grey'd, filing off the serial numbers & reworked into original fiction and published as a novel called...something. Alchemized, I think?
