Come on. It annoys me when people insist "spoilers" ruin things for everyone and no one should ever know things going in. But it is equally annoying to insist watching all the trailers is the only right way to watch something.

How about everyone lets everyone else enjoy things in the way that works best for them?

For trailers, I agree in theory. But so many trailers these days give away way too much of the plot.

For books, I extend it to first chapters, too. Any information introduced in Chapter 1 is not a spoiler.

SA. For the record, I completely agree with the "if it's in the trailer it's not a spoiler" part of the secret. But calling a trailer "essential viewing" for a movie is just... ridiculous.

80s Commercial Vault, TWCclassics, and Rhetty for History. So sue me I'm trying to time-travel back to 1989 when life was less sucky. There are lots of genX/nostalgia channels but they all follow a similar format so it's the voiceover that makes all the difference, and Rhetty is the least mind-numbing.

FunkyFrogBait, amusing commentary vids.
Swell Entertainment, she goes to events and talks about them and I find it fun.
TwoSet Violin, general classical music nerdery and it's cute.
Luxeria, mostly her unhinged TikTok make-up vids, she's hilarious and informative in those.
MissDercei make-up vids, again mostly because I find her funny.
Kennie JD on and off. I need to catch up with her actually, I had a few weeks where I couldn't watch her stuff so I am behind.
And Robert Welsh, sometimes for his make-up stuff but mostly his make-up hacks are they good/shit vids because he's funny as shit in his roasting.

Well, if someone whines about spoilers that someone mentions that are in a trailer, then they're dumb, but I do think sometimes trailers divulge more than they need to.

Like, don't put all of the best funny lines in there! Let me get them fresh in the first watch and enjoy them more!

I would answer this, but almost none of them are fandom-related, if that's what you're asking. Like Bliss Foster's fashion commentary. I guess fashion is a fandom, sort of.
