I tried going fishing last week, but I've never gone fishing before, and I don't even know how to cast properly. I kept getting the line all tangled up behind the reel. What am I doing wrong?

Trial and error nonny. I hope you catch some fish and enjoy fishing!
I don't fish a lot but I still remember the moment I learned how to cast a line (I was a kid, felt like I'd spend forever getting the line tangled up or the hook to flop down at my feet until the moment my body and mind put together how to hold and let go at the right time).
I know it will just be a matter of time for you. Good luck!
