I would totally read all of that. Is there Walter/Anyone at all out there? Because there should be. (Not in the least Walter/William, which I apparently forgot to mention the first time around. Tsk, self.)

This thread is now designed as a support group.

None that I know of; I googled a little but couldn't find anything. Walter is probably hard to write and my own background is in literature and law so I'd be utterly helpless on any science or pseudo-sciencey speak, but I still feel like I want to try a short story. I'm going to rewatch the first season when it comes out on BluRay and try to follow the Walter/William back story for some insight/inspiration. I really wish someone talented would pop up and tackle this character and any/all of those pairings, though. I would deed them my firstborn.
