I was at -5ish, had it done once at 18, then another at 36 because I was hitting the -1.5/2ish mark where things were faintly blurry. Might need to again at 60 or something. Definitely lasts longer than 10 years

Only side effects for me is night light glare and slight dry-eye but I live in a dry area

Oh yeah, also had both eyes done at once, both times. Recovery took about one day both times. Just gotta avoid rubbing hard after that
