First time hearing about this show, but since I know Japanese I'm gonna guess from the title:
is this a show about a world where everyone is gay and the protagonist is the only one who is straight and everyone is trying to pursue him?
Because that premise seems ridiculous and "problematique" and I'd probably fall in love with the show. Should I hand over my Lesbo card if I watch and end up enjoying it?
BTW, OP, I love a lot of Japanese "queer" (?) shows that from the eyes of a westerner are probably awful, but DAMN, stuff like Ossan's Love and Ore no Sukato doko itta are so much fun lol

I’m intrigued. Where can one watch this?

I've actually read this manga: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Man_Who_Defies_the_World_of_BL

It's got its funny moments but is pretty bland. There's no real story, just gags that poke fun at BL tropes. Nothing in particular makes you care about the protagonist or what happens to him, mostly because has no real character besides "not being gay and wanting to be left alone." The most passive boring MC in the world where things happen to him and around him and he personally accomplishes nothing whatsoever.

Maybe the drama is better, or changed that drastically. But it wouldn't surprise me if it's a cheap gag show with no depth, because that's what the manga is

The drama actually kind of sorta has a plot and he gets a (gasp) love interest... who is a guy. (It's not the main focus)

I saw the trailer for the first series and couldn't wait for it to come out! I loved it, especially how it managed to poke fun at BL tropes without being mean.
