why should you ever disclose your diagnosis to your friends to begin with, if you are not comfortable with that? that's not selfish at all.
i know that internet nowadays is all about disclosing all our labels and this phenomenon could even pressure you do to it IRL, but NO. I don't think it's healthy. people are not entitled those information about you.
the amount of people that knows i have bipolar disorder and ADHD is very very small (3: my mom, my sis and my BFF) and I don't disclose it to people that i know will not help me. BPD is even more stigmatised and misunderstood than bipolar disorder so yeah, i get you.

the only think you should probably do is trying to get professional help. even if symptoms are similar you probably need guidance from a professional therapist to really understand what's going on with you.
and maybe if you are at risk of suicide, talk to the person you are living with or you are the closest to and kindly ask them to keep an eye out for you. try carefully because of personal boundaries etc. it's difficult, i know.
all the best.
