I had rabbit a few months ago for the first time. Disappointed. Perhaps it was the way it was prepared, but I was expecting it to be a little gamier, and more on the side of beef or something. Less on the chicken side. I'd be willing to try it again, if prepared differently.

Rabbit meat seems to be all the consistency of white-meat chicken. I suppose you could get it gamier depending on the diet, but it's not going to be anything like beef.
