You're a cis woman equating your irl personal preferences with choices of how to portray a character. *You* didn't enjoy topping physically, so it's "for the bottom to enjoy" apparently. Let's just ignore everyone who enjoys topping that way... and let's keep ignoring that multiple things can be true. Yes, trans people have sex in all kinds of ways. Yes, a lot of trans fic often plays with gender dynamics and gender related kinks, you have to be stupid to not admit that it's there. That doesn't make it bad, sometimes I can enjoy that aspect myself, but it isn't everyone's cup of tea.

It's not problematic or whatever to do a fic where a trans guy bottoms but it is understandable that people are uncomfortable with it being the default approach or just disinterested in the scenario. This preference against it really doesn't need to be defended so hard, especially by cis people, thanks.

It's not thing to be disinterested, and another altogether to suggest that a trans man isn't a man unless he's using some kind of dick on someone.

I'm seeing a lot of replies where you're taking disinterest as the latter thing. Sincerely, if this isn't trolling, you're overthinking this.

This entire thing started because anon above said that it's hetero sex in disguise when a trans man and cis man are portrayed as having PIV sex. That's been the source of my frustration all along.

Which it still is in a lot of fic. Shocker, I know.

Okay, so? I agree that trans fic often deliberately uses heterosexual erotica tropes as a kink because it's hot. This doesn't really get warned for beyond "trans character" usually and we don't really have a quick fandom term yet to refer to this type of fic. A lot of people are not into this kind of fic. I don't find that offensive.

I don't find it offensive that people don't like that kind of fic. I find it offensive that this person seems to think that manhood in a sexual context is defined by them penetrating their partner; and that the only way to "fuck" someone, to be the active party, is to penetrate them.

You're the one repeatedly taking it there...

Anon literally said that. Multiple times.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
