I’d never heard his name, but apparently he did the music for The Three Musketeers (1993) and Brazil (1985), two pretty big movies of my youth.

And he arranged and conducted the orchestral bits for Pink Floyd’s The Wall!

I just checked him out on Wikipedia and honestly I’m shocked I’ve never heard of him before. I love a bunch of his movies! But I’ll be honest that I can’t remember the score for even a single one and I’ve actually watched three in the last month.

I was heartbroken when I saw he had died (through the oscars in memoriam that year). So many amazing scores!!
