but honestly this feels like the year I'm going to go ahead and burn through my bucket list, because I don't really have a positive outlook for this.

Anon above you and honestly that is my outlook too. Ive been dealing with progressively worse chronic pain and health problems for 6 years with no sign of it getting better or ability to get treatmet so fuck it. Burn through my meager savings on my bucket list and go out with a bang.
