When do you watch your shows?

(Anonymous) 2024-04-30 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I only watch at night on the weekends. I feel like I have too much to do during the week, plus I like to get to bed early for work. And I don't watch anything during the day. Idk why, tv (includes YouTube shows etc) has just always been an evening thing for me.

Weekends and evenings. Unless I have something else going on over the weekend, but I usually don't have much.

I prefer early afternoon on the weekend. Too tired from work to watch anything during the week, and I want time to do something else that I enjoy if whatever I'm watching ends up disappointing.

I'm usually always second screening something if I am on my computer after work. So evenings and weekends.

I'm always amazed and impressed by people who can do multiple media at once. My attention span is crap and I can only really focus on one thing at a time.

I initially read this as, "when do you wash your shoes," and thought "hardly ever," followed by, "...*should* I be regularly washing my shoes?"

As for when I watch my shows, it's up in the air. Definitely always in the evening, but which days and how often is completely random. I go through (sometimes long) periods where I just don't feel like watching TV at all.

Too funny, I just this morning saw a random video of someone scrubbing their shoes and I thought "wait am I supposed to be washing my shoes?"

LOL I love your first read of this!

Usually a few minutes at a time on weekday evenings. I just watch on my phone most of the time because the screen is plenty big to see what I need to see. If I only watched when I had time to sit down in front of a larger screen, I’d never watch anything.

Mornings and evenings, but mainly as background noise while I get ready/wind down for the day. Weekends for the stuff I’m actually paying attention to.

Depends on what shows. I'll often have random crap on as background during the week while I'm working. But for new shows I want to pay attention to, mostly during the weekend.

Guilty Pleasure Music

(Anonymous) 2024-04-30 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
What music is your guilty pleasure music?

I listened to Hamster Dance in my car today. Twice. What can I say. The song is fun.

Take the "I dont do guilty pleasures, all pleasures are shame free" as read so I can go with the spirit of the question.

I have playlists for my little toddler relatives and I will absolutely listen to them when it is just me. There is some quality kids music out there!

I don't have kids. But I still listen to some songs from various kid shows: Disney things, Rainbow Bright (Twink of an Eye is great), classic cartoons, etc.

Same. Honestly soundtracks from 80s/90s cartoon movies are kinda great. The Care Bears II soundtrack has made me cry (I'm just saying 'Forever Young' hits really hard now that I'm older, okay).

Oooo, yes. Honestly, I think I just like happy, dancey music, at least when I'm driving. Keeps me from losing my temper too much at all the awful drivers.

I have A Goofy Movie's I2I and Stand Out on my playlists lol. No shame, I love these songs. Kids stuff is great.

Lately I've been obsessed with the song Poison from Hazbin Hotel, but I'm not really comfortable playing it around people who haven't seen the show. It just feels weird, like I'm not really sure what impression it's giving if you don't know the context for it?

Other guilty pleasures include:
Want U Back by Cher Lloyd - Feels like every stereotype about how women are shallow, vain, and bitchy all rolled into one. But my god is it a bop.
Blurred Lines by Robin Thick - It's just catchy, okay? I can't help what my brain vibes with. XD
