(Anonymous) 2024-05-02 03:47 am (UTC)(link)Ngl Enterprise was a whole lot more interesting to watch than Discovery ever was. For starters - less fucking boring as hell Klingons scenes and the existence of T'Pol.
It sucks because I actually wanted to like Discovery, but just felt like it was a chore to watch the first two series. Plus I still feel a tiny bit bitter with the initial pre-series build up for Michael to be the first black female Captain; only for her to be Captain for a whole 5 minutes before being a prisoner and... bleh. I've heard that she gets to be a Captain in series 3, but I don't have it in me to slug through another series right now.

(Anonymous) 2024-05-02 12:41 pm (UTC)(link)Like I know that Enterprise isn't anywhere near perfect, but I have been able to rewatch it. Maybe I'll feel differently about Discovery in a couple of years and give it another try.
