I have made a conscious decision to not search for episodes or anything of this, because I missed it when it happened and I know if I watch it now, I'll feel such regret over having missed it when it aired.

Which is to say, I totally get what you're saying but also, write that fic, just say you were suddenly inspired, or just don't say anything at all. But do the thing that'll make you happy. :)
