You’re never going to find someone who thinks and feels exactly the same way you do. Even if you have basically the same values, it doesn’t mean your values share the same levels.
I’d honestly not be concerned about either of those situations unless they were part of a pattern. Not all claims of sex assault are true and there has absolutely been a recent case of that with a celebrity. A fan disbelieving an accusation and only sharing that in closed circles isn’t an issue imho. Someone who always disbelieves victims is. Someone who only disbelieves one accusation but is loud about it is a problem and I will cut them out of my life.
Same with the Megan Fox anecdote; Megan Fox saying “single girls need to invest in themselves” is embarrassing af on so many levels. I’d actually be cracking jokes about not being able to afford her plastic surgeons because that’s pretty much how it comes off. But if your friend is catty about all pretty women, then she sucks.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with this take. It's something I often struggle with myself, tbh. I guess I probably have trust issues, which can make it difficult to not assume that a small point of disagreement automatically conflates to a much larger ideological schism. But I just keep reminding myself that no one has identical values and priorities, and conflating one single difference of opinion with a much broader ideological divide is...just not it.

How is saying single girls need to invest in themselves and not bother with boys embarrassing?

It's the source, not the words. I thought that was pretty clear in ayrt's post.
