queenslayerbee: Isabelle Adjany as Lucy Harker in 1979's "Nosferatu the Vampire". She's surrounded by darkness, looking over her shoulder while she wears a white nightgown and a cross as a necklace. A hand with long nails like a claw is reaching for her neck from the darkness behind her. (Default)

I'm begging everyone in this thread to read "why does he do that" to at least understand the basics of a dv dynamic. ideally they should do further research (in general AND about this specific case) but let's start small.

That’s an interesting recommendation because everything in that book points to Amber as being the abuser and Johnny being the victim. But the author of that book is very firm that women can only be the abuser in same sex relationships. It’s exactly why that book is infamous at the collegiate level when studying anything that touches on bias and legitimacy.

LMAOOOOO. I mean, I knew for a fact that people misunderstood this book as they saw fit, but nice to see proof in the wild. Depp is not a victim and I'm not arguing this further. There are pleeeeenty of links in the internet that have already gotten into the specifics of this case (instead of making tiktoks mocking a woman for her rape!), AND into what a vile individual with a clear pattern of abuse he is (r/DeppDelusion and r/DeppAnon my beloved). Engage with those mask-off if you want, because I have no patience for people with this topic.
