What places in the world would you most like to visit, if you could go anywhere?

For me, the top two are Hawaii and New Zealand.

I'd love to go to Italy and especially to visit Pompeii and Rome.

Guatemala and Russia are on my list due to my interest in those country's histories. Not going to be safe to go any time soon, though.

Although I've been to Great Britain, I didn't get to do much sightseeing and I'd love to go back and see more things. Also, I've been to Oaxaca, Mexico, but I'd like to see other places too.

Spain is on my bucket list, as are Denmark, Norway, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Kenya, South Africa, and Egypt.

I want to experience the monsoon in India, the cold in Antarctica, the cherry blossoms in Japan, the storms in Venezuela.

not to rain on your parade, anon, but I've been to Japan during sakura season and I found it overrated. the swaths of trees in bloom all at once is the same there as it is in D.C., and the crowds are equally massive, so the only reason I could see going to Japan specifically for sakura is if you're hoping to simply find a street in a backwater neighborhood of Tokyo where no one knows how thick the trees are and have a private happy time to yourself. With climate change, hitting that sweet spot is extremely difficult - going before the hotels jack up their prices but when there's still a chance of an early bloom. Honestly, seeing one tree by itself in mid-March in Kyoto bucking the norm and being pretty was neater than seeing the whole Sumida corridor choked with more people than blossoms.

DA I went to Japan during cherry blossom season and honestly loved it! It was crowded, yeah, but I couldn’t help feeling excited every time I walked under all the flowering trees. We don’t have cherry blossom trees where I’m from though, so that definitely played a part in my excitement.

Another DA! I went during cherry blossom season last year and it was beautiful. I'm glad we decided to go then.

You do have to go with an upbeat positive mental attitude, and a take-part personality, that is true.

You can choose less crowded and expensive places though. I am sure that sakura as pretty in Sendai or Sapporo as in Kyoto or Tokyo.

Central Europe. It is my bucket list trip. Been planning it for years.

Asia mostly. I'd really like to visit India and China and I feel like I could probably spend a month there. I'd also like to visit Japan although I think I'd probably spend less time there. Also Central Asia and Iran for the history and everything.

There's other places I'd like to visit or visit again - Argentina, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, the UK. But those ones are a lot more likely I'd actually find a way to get there. Asia just seems so hard to actually visit, between how much I hate flying, how long the flights are and in some cases the political difficulties.

India and Egypt, but I like to travel solo and I’m not sure if either’s good for female solo travelers. Maybe one day if I can talk my friends into going with me.

I really want to visit Fallingwater. I will likely be visiting Stockholm before this happens, though.

I'd like to take a year-long trip around Japan and experience the sights and seasons... while we still have seasons, I guess.
