That depends majorly on the context for me. Teacher/student in a school setting? Please no. In a college/university setting? Could work. In a xianxia/fantasy setting (or similar)/something that is more a master/apprentice type deal? I love that.

Its the power and age differential for me. Mostly the power thing. I get why people like it, but it is a big ol nope for me every time I see it
