da but people getting up in arms over non-blood-related pseudo incest has always been weird to me because almost every time I've seen that happen it's been in a canon where it's pretty clear in canon itself that the characters don't think of each other as siblings in any way, it's the fandom that's projecting "these characters grew up together/knowing each other so they MUST think of each other as family!" onto them. It's like they can't comprehend that people can know each other since childhood or even live under the same roof without automatically inserting a family dynamic into the relationship.

It's especially funny in Genshin because different translations give diff meanings. So Diluc and Kaeya are brothers in English only, out of all 10+ languages.

The English translation team does a pretty bad job in various areas (especially when it comes to stuff like this) that some people have speculated if there are actual antis on the TL team lol
