I think that's because the writers (and tbh, most of the fandom) ship them with other people. Aside from appearing in a game together, I don't think they ever had much chemistry, so there's not really all that much to build on (whereas Ada is clearly the writers' love interest of choice for Leon, and for Claire it's uhhh... I think they tried something with Steve there for a minute).

I agree re:the writers have a LeonAda mind but tbh it's super boring and they should've reconsidered a long time ago. then again, I do hate Ada as a character because she's a perfect example of bad female characters in games for me so I'm biased.

I regret to inform you that RE developers and/or Capcom have a huge bonner for pairing up Leon with Ada, so it basically explains everything in ur secret.
It's too bad, I would love to see him and Claire again, not even in a romantic way, just give them a mutual adventure of something. A lot of lost potential with these two, you are right to be frustrated.
