Rent. I live in Vancouver, make minimum wage, and stand to inherit nothing. I have some savings, but nowhere near enough to be able to buy a place.

I don't think I would even mind renting if I made twice as much money as I currently do. The problem is that if I get booted from my current place somehow, it's going to cost me at least $500/month more to rent somewhere else, and at that point, at my current income level, it's getting into "Can I make ends meet?" territory.
