If you want a literal definition of what meat is, sure. But as much as different meats differ in taste and texture and aroma from each other, fish tends to differ greatly from all of them-- like, when I think of fish, there's a definite picture in my head which is totally different from what I think when I think 'meat', and it makes sense to me that a person (or video game animal) might have strong preferences for either land-based meats OR fish, but not enjoy both equally, or enjoy both at all.
