Love this, because the reason I personally disliked that show (despite being super hyped for it because I loved the characters) is that I found the discussion on racism very VERY shallow.
(throw into it also what it tried to say about classism and the refugee crisis. that show was a mess, thematically speaking)

I give it credit for trying (and that's all), and IMO a few more episodes would've helped flesh things out better. Why are show creators so obsessed with cramming so much stuff in so few episodes? Give us audience a chance to BREATHE, and for the love of god, show creators, actually THINK about what story you want to tell and plan shit better. And if Disney is telling you to cut things off after a set number of episodes, just walk away next time (easy for me to say, I know).
