Honestly, I think there are so many good ships on Farscape, but I never really thought of these two like that. Still, I hope there are some good fics out there for you, at least?

Personally, I always wished Zhaan and D'Argo had ended up being a thing instead of Chiana and D'Argo.

I think that was the original plan, maybe? Zhaan's actress ended up being allergic to the makeup and had to leave..

It definitely was part of the original plan, because it really was hinted at in the early episodes. But I'm not sure it had to do with Zhaan leaving, because when she did Chiana and D'Argo had been together for quite some time, if I remember correctly.

I know the actors did their best but I never thought that Dargo and Chiana had any chemistry whatsoever.

Yeah, that's true. I'm mostly into Scorpius/Braca and John/Scorpius, so there really isn't much for me to read lol. I imagine it's the same for most people looking for something other than John/Aeryn, but as long as there are a few decent fics I want to read I'm okay with that, personally.

Even though John seemed overwhelmed by and a little afraid of Zhaan in the first season, I shipped them, too.

I felt they nailed the chemistry between the two waaay back in Season One first couple of episodes right out the gate. In the ep 'Back, And Back, And Back to the Future', One of the threats of the week makes a veiled comment about John, and Zhaan very coldly says that "[he's] far too complicated to understand in the short time you will be here". Very protective of him, it just nailed the dynamic.

Zhaan is the best, no question, but I shipped her with everyone but John because I hate him and don't want him to be happy ever. Aeryn/Zhaan is my favorite, though.
