Yeah, there was one or two actually brilliant crossovers, then people started jumping on the bandwagon and it's getting overdone. The fact that "Dick Grayson and Richard Parker (Marvel) are the Same Person" is a tag is telling.

People can enjoy what they like and I'm sure that there's plenty of good, bad, and self-indulgent Spider-Man in the DCU fics out there for readers to squee over, I'm not judging, but on anon I will be just as salty as I am with the volume of Miraculous Ladybug, Danny Phantom, and White Collar crossovers.

There was a period where Batman/DC infected my fandom. Every update was a fusion or a crossover and they were so shittily tagged it was nigh impossible to avoid them. So annoying.

Crossovers are fine, fusion fics can DIAF though.

Fully agreed. I’ll give most crossovers between my fandoms a shot, but fusions I avoid completely.

I understand the frustration, it’s always annoying when the feed is flooded with things you’re not interested in, for whatever reason.

I’d recommend excluding Spider-Man and the MCU.
