Well, I've only watched the first six seasons, but of them...

Asylum, Coven, and Freak Show were my favourites. I wouldn't necessarily say SKIP Murder House, since it's not bad, but it's...just OK. If there hadn't been further seasons, I'd happily recommend it but it's probably the least interesting of the seasons I actually finished. Hotel I liked, but it's...really kind of a mess. A glorious mess, but a mess, nonetheless. If the rest of the series REALLY catches you, I'd recommend continuing on to it, if not, then you'll have already watched the best after seasons 2-4.

Roanoke...I just couldn't finish. I couldn't say what about it failed to catch me (especially this far removed from it), but... It did.

Cult and Apocalypse just never appealed to me, conceptwise, so I didn't bother with them, and I sort of forgot about the series after that.
