As long as people continue to perpetuate the myth that Donald Trump was always a loser and villain, we will continue to get Donald Trumps. It’s only by looking at him in the 70s to 00s that we can see where we went wrong as a society.

Donald Trump was a successful mogul adored by the American public. It was a feather in Chris Columbus’ cap that Trump agreed to the cameo. And it was a well written joke that Kevin just ran up to him like he was just anyone because it was honestly unimaginable that even a child wouldn’t recognize him. Was he a ruthless, unethical piece of shit back then? Yep. And he was admired for it because he embodied the ideal of the business world.

But he never really was that succesful mogul, he just pretended to be. His money and success? All daddy dearest. He tanked several business ventures, bancrupted two huge casinos and more often than not had more debts than other people make in a lifetime. he was a celebrity, but he was not ever not a loser, at least not by his own merit.

"It was a feather in Chris Columbus’ cap that Trump agreed to the cameo"??? What kind of drugs have you been taking??? It was a demand of Trump's that every movie filmed on his property put him in a cameo, and Home Alone 2 was filmed in his hotel! Most directors ended up cutting his scene before their movie hit theatres - because they were all pointless, easily removable cameos - and even this one is still removed by some TV channels for time! And Trump has been regularly mocked since at least the 90s, dude. Pay attention.
