116. The books in themselves are just horrible (in my opinion) but I have friends who like them a lot and they are wonderful people and we both respect each others opinions.

However it seems like its influencing a lot of people, young girls in particular, in a wrong way. There's something about the books that makes too large an amount of people not able to realize all the things that you pointed out in your secret, particularly the part about the dysfunctional relationship. Many people out there see Edward and Bella's relationship as 'true love' and I think thats were most of the issues pop up.

At least for me, and Meyer doesn't seem to realize this either so she only promotes this false idea for impressionable girls that it's okay to completely give up your independence for a guy like Edward.
