Because learning and discovering trans characters in video games is a current hyper-fixation of mine for Pride Month, I really wanted to share some relevant information re: Bridget's profiles and discuss how the gradual shift in her lore was done over time, leading to what some people have dubbed either brilliant subtle storytelling or ham-fisted, poorly translated diversity pandering. I will openly admit to having been a fan of this character when she first came out, as I absolutely loved the concept of a femboy trying to be more manly, but with the release of Strive I found myself bemused by her actually being trans. I definitely had mixed feelings on the matter, but ultimately came to conclusion that people are going to think whatever they want and interpret the lore however they please, and I'm just happy the trans girls are happy, lol.
