Asking for a fic with a trans character to be tagged is not transphobic, and almost all trans people will agree with you there.

This entire comment does have an undertone of transphobia, though, with you implying that the meanie mean trans wanting all trans fic untagged and calling transphobia on everyone who wants them tagged is normal trans behavior and not just something one person did to you once. As well as the good old "It's a fetish!!" because conflating transness with being a fetish is definitely not something straight out of the right-wing and TERF playbooks, nope not at all.

Seems to me you're kind of defensive on it. I literally said it happened once. And then said that reddit was full of assholes, which I don't think anyone would dispute. Again, trans people aren't a monolith. The ones who think it's an "undue burden" to tag trans fic and call it transphobia when you want them tagged are all assholes. 99% of the trans people I know IRL (tbf, they're all transfems) are chill.

And, it is fetish fic. In my fandom, they're all porn. I'm not talking about fic where a character happens to be trans, or a fic about a character being trans where sex wasn't the point. In my fandom they are literally all about and focused on male vagina. That's a fetish, my friend.
