(Anonymous) 2024-06-22 11:18 am (UTC)(link)I think for me, a person with depression and general fucked up moods/emotions, it is really hard to feel the happy when the sad is so overwhelming in my brain. Like logically I totally get what you're saying and see the happy and satisfied catharsis that other people feel, but for me sad or highly emotional things often just plummet me into depression and the happy is just a small glimmer drowned in the other feelings. I am very careful with the media Inwatch for this very reason. Even if its a really happy ending my brain often can't climb back from the sad devastating begining.
